What is CATAWEB ?

This new part of the site is experimental, we designed for you, and we will continue to expand. Now enjoy :

an easier collection;

rich and accurate informations;

the speed : the minute we receive a new issue, you can instantly see it here!

This work is not just from us to you ; it is also your turn to help and make others benefit from your knowledge.

Soon you will be able to :

contribute towards its developpement by submitting comments and suggestions;

enhance this software by making it suiting yourself;

complete missing informations about one stamp.

even submit a whole story about one item you know very well, this will make happy the other visitors!

There is no limit!

Now our database is just born, less than 100 stamps and FDC are inside; but very soon this number will grow.

Next we will add all the commemorative covers of the space events of the world space bases, our albums, the mission paches, the postal cards, and all that is databas-able about space hystory (with pictures and full text) :

the events with date;

the space bases;

the countries (or political divisions) who issue stamps with flag and map;

the pilots, with photo, bio and autograph.

LOGICAL LINKS between all these items : so you can for example purchase an album page by page to keep only the stamps you have; or find information about a cover by reading the life of the astronauts who signed onto it. Let's go!
