Beschreibung : Symphonie 1 was a French-German, geostationary, equatorial, experimental communications satellite. It provided 1200 phone channels and two color TV (including eight voice) channels which operated between 4 and 6 GHz. It was used for communication between Europe, Africa, South America, and the East Coast of North America.
