Beschreibung : 29 April 2021. - Wenchang Cosmodrome - The Long March 5 rocket is a Chinese heavy launcher capable of placing a payload of 25 tons in low orbit, version CZ-5B and 13 tons in geostationary transfer orbit.
The CZ-5 uses new efficient engines and burns a semi-cryogenic kerosene / liquid oxygen mixture, which allows to have a heavy launcher comparable to those of other great space powers. This rocket must play a central role in the country`s space program by notably allowing the assembly of the future Chinese space station, ambitious missions of exploration of the solar system.
