Beschreibung : The Canopée docks at Kourou Pariacabo harbour : this ship specially designed for the transport of rockets and large and fragile components such as satellites. It is equipped with 4 turbosails which reduce fuel consumption and therefore CO2 emissions by 40%. La Canopée first travels across Europe and collects all the elements constituting a launcher and its payload. The vessel is specially designed for the shallow waters of the Kourou River. Powered by underwater pods, the systems compensate for the swell so as not to shake the cargo.
