Beskrivning : 2 covers dedicated to Dawn orbiting Ceres. Because of the failure of two reaction wheels, Dawn made fewer camera observations of Ceres during its approach phase than it did during its Vesta approach.
From April 23 to May 9, 2015, Dawn entered an RC3 orbit ("Rotation Characterization 3") at an altitude of 13,500 km (8,400 mi). The RC3 orbit lasted 15 days, during which Dawn alternated taking pictures and sensor measurements and then relayed the resulting data back to Earth.
