Intelsat 5F F-6 was a COMSAT Corporation commercial communications satellite. It was part of an advanced series of spacecraft used to provide increased telecommunications capacity for Intelsat`s global network. It also carried a Maritime Communications Services (MCS) package for INMARSAT.
