Descrizione : InSight (English acronym for Interior Exploration using Geophysical Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) is a NASA mission to Mars. It is a lander that must land on the surface of Mars and carries two scientific instruments: a seismometer and a heat flow sensor sinking up to 5 meters below the surface of the ground. Both must provide data on the structure and internal composition of Mars, one of the aspects of the planet that has not been studied so far. The scientific objective of the mission is to reconstruct the process of formation and evolution of rocky planets. The results derived from the investigations conducted by the space probe could have important repercussions in several scientific disciplines.

Discovery Program

GRANDE PREMIERE - After the disappearance of the firm ZAZZLE which allowed collectors to obtain space stamps approved by the US Post and valid throughout the US on the mail, here is the relief taken by the United States Post that allows us to have official stamps, valid on the mail, and dedicated to spacecraft.
