Beskrivning : DMSP (74-063A), also known as DMSP 9532, was one of the series of meteorological satellites developed and operated by the Air Force under the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program. This program, previously known as Data Acquisition and Processing Program (DAPP), was classified until March 1973. The objective of this program was to provide global visual and infrared (IR) cloudcover data and specialized enviromental data to support Department of Defense requirements.
