Beskrivning : COMSTAR 1 was launched May 13, 1976 from Cape Canaveral and was one of the four COMSTAR project spacecraft built by COMSAT. The project was designed to place domestic communications repeater satellites in orbit for domestic use. All systems operated nominally.
Kennedy Space Center post stamp and Comsat 1 - TV Sat satellite.
