Placed in a geostationary orbit at 114.9° west and provide key services including broadband, video, cellular, mobility and other government services, and will open new markets for Eutelsat in Alaska and Canada.
The satellite will be deployed in a supersynchronous transfer orbit with perigee of approximately 400 kilometers (250 miles), an apogee of 63,000 kilometers (39,146 miles).
