Beskrivning : The DS-K-8 satellites were developed by Yuzhnoye to test the techniques and equipment for an ELINT sytem for the determination of characteristics of the military radar installations from space.
A single satellite, known as Kosmos 8, was successfully orbited by a Kosmos rocket from Kapustin Yar.
