Beskrivning : Cosmos 26 was a Soviet scientific satellite launched from Kapustin Yar. This mission studied the geomagnetic field and, along with Cosmos 49, represented the USSR contribution to the IQSY World Magnetic Survey. The corresponding US measurements were performed on OGO 2 and OGO 4.
