Descrizione : ChinaSat 1 - Zhongxing 18 is a communications satellite. Ku commercial with 30 Ku-band transponders, Ka-band broadband communication services with 14 Ka-band SMS ad hoc user groups and exploration of Ka-band broadcast services with 2 Ka-band BSS transponders in service coverage areas.
CZ-3B / G2 Launcher The satellite was successfully launched into geostationary transfer orbit, but suffered anomalies after launch. A month after its launch, it still remained in geostationary transfer orbit, suggesting mission failure.
