Beskrivning : OSIRIS-REx (acronym for Origins-Spectral Interpretation-Resource Identification-Security-Regolith Explorer) is a mission from NASA which aims to study the asteroid Bénnu and bring back a sample of ground on Earth.
launched on September 8, 2016 by an Atlas V 411. Osiris, after two years of
transit, is placed in orbit around the asteroid Bénnu in early December 2018 - the space probe is taking soil samples from the asteroid on the 20th October 2020.
