Beskrivning : The Ariane 6 VA 265 mission launched the SENTINEL 1D satellite aboard an Ariane 6 rocket at the Kourou Spaceport. This large satellite, developed by Airbus Defence Space in partnership with CNES, is tasked with generating high-resolution 3D maps of the Earth using stereo images with a resolution of 50 cm. It will be deployed in a geosynchronous solar orbit and will also provide strategic monitoring of ground movements.
